Lost Island: Surviving Interface

Managing Characters

Your characters can walk, sleep, eat and drink, produce items and create objects. They can also carry items in their backpack and transfer them around the map.

It is possible to sleep during nighttime only and if fatigue is greater than 0. You can have your character sleep by clicking button [1] on the panel, or he/she will automatically fall asleep if they need to and have no work assigned.

To eat or drink an edible item, select it in the character's backpack and click button [2] on the panel.

If you send your character to an object, he/she gets "attached" to it, that is the object's icon [3] appears beside character's icon [4] on the info panel. You can now move items between character's backpack and object's storage with double-clicks or using buttons [5]. When you drop an item on clear ground, a Pile of Stuff is automatically created there.

Managing Objects

Several persons can work and be "attached" to a single object. You will see the list of these persons when you select the object [1]. You can destroy your building with button [2] or stop the current work with button [3].

Select the object storage pane [4] to see what items are contained within the object.

Producing Items

Items are created in objects by your characters. Every object can produce different kind of items. Select the item production pane [1] on the object's information panel to see what items can be created here. Click an item to learn what tool [2] and resources [3] are required for it. Double-click the icon or left-click button [4] to add the item to the production queue. Right-click the icon to remove the item from the production queue.

All the required resources must be brought in to the object before you start creating the item. The specified tool must present in the backpack of every character who is going to work on the object.

Creating Objects

New objects can only be built in-place of existing objects. Select the object production pane [1] on the object's information pane to see what can be built here. Everything begins from a special object called Pile of Stuff, which is automatically created when you simply drop an item on the ground. Working on objects is very identical to creating items.
